Liz Dickinson BSc (Hons) - Acupuncturist.

In 2009 Liz graduated from Glyndwr university with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She was awarded student of the year for her course and in 2015 received the CBDC Business of excellence award for Nova Scotia

Liz is the clinic owner and Acupuncture practitioner. She is a registered Acupuncturist an Advanced Reflexologist and Advanced Aromatherapy Therapist.

She also integrates Chinese Massage (Tui-na), Auricular Acupuncture and Laser Acupuncture into her treatments.

She is passionate about combining her skills to create a personalised treatment plan. Treating the whole person with as many of her skills as she can.

Liz’s forte is sciatic and lumbar pain, musculoskeletal problems, TMJ, migraine, digestive issues, anxiety and stress. She enjoys working with children using her pain free laser acupuncture techniques to help with sleep disorders, digestive issues and behaviour difficulties such as ADHD.

Liz is a keen gardener, she has a creative side and enjoys painting and fine beadwork.

Tonia Bruce - Registered Massage Therapist & Bioflex Technician.

Tonia is the happy, smiling face you see when you come into the clinic, along with her warm, nurturing and kind demeanor. Tonia is a healer at heart and will do everything in her power to help you and make your visit to the clinic as wonderful as possible. The team truly thanks Tonia for her honesty and loyalty.

Tonia is a graduate of 2010 from ICT Northumberland College and a member of MTWPAM, with 13 years experience. 

Her technique adjusts the pressure as she goes to match your comfort level, giving a nice smooth flow to her treatments.

She also does Pregnancy, Hot Stone and Indian Head Massage.(great for headache relief, tension, and stress) 

"I like to give 110% to every treatment. If it were me coming in with a concern I think how would I want my treatment to go? It is important to always have clients leave feeling better and pleased with the treatment".

In her free time you can find her with her little girl, family and friends. She loves the ocean, music, camping, BBQ's, and just having a good time. 

Tonia currently works mornings as the Bioflex Laser Technician and does Massage in the afternoons.

Destiny Covert - Registered Massage Therapist.

Destiny is the newest addition to our team here at Little River Holistic Therapies.

You can find her around the clinic helping out and greeting everyone with her welcoming smile. 

Born and raised in Digby, Nova Scotia, Destiny graduated with honours and distinction from Eastern College in 2022, with a diploma in Massage Therapy.

During her treatments Destiny focuses on a variety of techniques, including but not limited to, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, sports massage, prenatal, and general Swedish massage. 

After graduating from Eastern College, Destiny worked in Downtown Halifax where she had the opportunity to treat clients with many different conditions. During that time she gained experience in treating conditions such as plantar fasciitis, sciatica, stress and anxiety, insomnia, edema, repetitive stress related injuries and more. 

Whether you are looking for a deep tissue or a general relaxation massage, Destiny is looking forward to working with you and is eager to help you reach your goals and ease your symptoms!

Rose Paul - Registered Massage Therapist.

Rose will be joining the team, for 3 days per week, in July, before increasing her hours to 5 days per week in September.

She knows the area well, having lived here before moving to Alberta to complete her RMT Diploma.

Rose is a current student in her second year of study of Massage Therapy with an expected graduation date of June 2024. She is trained to treat for a number of conditions using therapeutic massage techniques including General Swedish, deep tissue and myofascial release.

During her free time she enjoys spending time with her son and being outside in nature.
